Reservation Policies - Castelo Hotel

1.Reservation Process
To make a reservation at Castelo Hotel, simply fill out the reservation form available on our website or contact us directly via phone or email. The reservation confirmation will be sent by the hotel;

2.Advance Payment
To secure your reservation, we require the payment of 100% of the total stay at least 24 hours before the check-in date. The payment will be made using the card provided at the time of the reservation. If the card is not valid or the charge cannot be processed, the reservation will be automatically canceled..

3.Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation: Cancellation of the reservation is free up to 24 hours before the check-in date. In this case, the paid amount will be fully refunded.
Cancellation After 24 Hours: For cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in, the full amount of the stay will be charged, with no refund.
No-Show: In case of no-show on the day of arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

4.Reservation Changes
Changes to the reservation (such as date changes or the number of guests) can be made subject to availability and hotel confirmation. We recommend making changes as early as possible to ensure the desired availability.

5.Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM.
Check-out must be completed by 12:00 PM.
If you need check-in or check-out outside these hours, please inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on availability.

6.General Rules
Minimum Age for Check-in: 18 years old.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse reservations from groups or guests exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the hotel premises; 
Only those named in the accommodation reservation are allowed to use the hotel room.
Guests must treat the hotel room with care and consideration.
Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult guest at all times during their stay.
Castelo Hotel is not responsible for theft, loss, or deterioration of valuables such as money, jewelry, or other significant items, should such events occur in the hotel room or inside vehicles parked in the parking lot.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in any area of Castelo Hotel. Failure to comply with Decree-Law No. 37/2007, of August 14, amended by Law No. 109/2015, of August, and Law No. 63/2017, of August 3, will result in a fine of up to €500.00.
